Toto just commented to Sky that they are setup for a warm race. This will be interesting! Fingers crossed Ferrari have kept the forecast in mind.JPBD1990 wrote: ↑14 Apr 2018, 09:10Forza Ferrari!
I wonder is merc is setup more for a warm race, potentially Ferrari will chew its tyres more?
For now though - as a Ferrari fan, I will enjoy this moment. First consequitive front row lockouts since Michael was in the car. I was 16. Feelin good so far!
Fingers crossed for an exciting race (and a Ferrari victory)!
Ferrari went purple S1 and S2 on second run in Q2 but pitted before finishing lap.matt_b wrote: ↑14 Apr 2018, 09:15Kimi losing the time in the final sector, shame it would've made for an interesting race
Mercedes much faster than Ferarri on the softs but soon as those ultras go on they lose over 3 tenths in the first sector then under a tenth in sector 2 and 3. Credit to Ferrari they've been bringing significant upgrades to each race, clearly pushing flat out in development.
On US!ferkan wrote: ↑14 Apr 2018, 09:18Ferrari went purple S1 and S2 on second run in Q2 but pitted before finishing lap.matt_b wrote: ↑14 Apr 2018, 09:15Kimi losing the time in the final sector, shame it would've made for an interesting race

They were on US in the second run but I think Merc was already using their highest engine mode in the second run of Q2 and Ferrari were not.ferkan wrote: ↑14 Apr 2018, 09:18Ferrari went purple S1 and S2 on second run in Q2 but pitted before finishing lap.matt_b wrote: ↑14 Apr 2018, 09:15Kimi losing the time in the final sector, shame it would've made for an interesting race

Uhm... Ferrari able to have pace with a larger range of track temperatures. So it's more like Mercedes had to compromise today to race tomorrow. Ferrari didn't have to compromise as much today or tomorrow.JPBD1990 wrote:Toto just commented to Sky that they are setup for a warm race. This will be interesting!
