Last year it was absolutely obliterating Mercedes, so much that I don't know if it'll change much this year as well. Plus, it is time for LH to get his act together so I would bet in a Hamilton victory.
Do we have any (premature) prediction for the weather?

Cloudy but no rain and around 20°C for the weekend.

I don't like Ferrari's tire choices, might actually hurt them.

I hope the pressure builds on both Hamilton and Vettel. We need more guys fighting for the title this year.

Always find the gap then use it.

Most worth notable change for me is that last year, the softest compound supplied by Pirelli were SS, now this year it's the US (and compounds got softer). Might be more bad news with Mercedes if they can't get it to work, although Mercedes did have a major advantage last year on this track.
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

If the US isn't a good tire for the race.

Mercedes has very similar choices so it might be fine, but i would have gone like Red Bull honestly.

You know i never got this overeaction about tire choices......
in the race They will use the compound they qualified(US) on and one set of SS maybe 2 .
care to explain how having one set of softs will hurt Ferrari? looks to me like its going to be a ultrasoft and SS race and they made a decision that the soft will not be in play for this race.

Even with drastically different choices between Mercedes and Ferrari in China, they had the same tyres in Q - 1 Med, 2 Softs and 3 Ultras. So it's more about learning about tyres during P1, 2 and 3 than using them during the race. Also, this is the last race teams had to choose tyres before running with them in Barcelona.
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

Even though Mercedes dominated qualifying last season by 1.1 seconds and the regulations haven't changed dramatically I still cant make a confident prediction. Anyone remember the temperatures in Australia compared to the predicted temperatures here?
