Track conditions look INSANE with this wind. I think we’re in for a wild ride tbh...

Hoping for a Ferrari win, but whoever does get it - it’s going to be deserved because things are about to get craaaazyy

I think the victor will be quite lucky and through circumstance. On this kind of track with safety cars, possible multiple ones for sure. I still think that will be RedBull.

Kimi might have a key role to play too: few laps on US and then onto the S till the end.
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

Vettel nailed his perfect qualifying lap in Q3 for the third race in a row while Raikkonen would have been on pole with 0.085 s advantage if he got his best sector times together. Even more amazing, Vettel also set his best sector times in one lap in his last five pole positions as he did it in 2017 Singapore and Mexican GPs.

Vettel was also the only driver in 2018 Azerbaijan GP qualifying who managed to set his best sectors in one lap.

2018 Azerbaijan GP - Incredible Vettel nails perfect lap again, Raikkonen loses pole position

Regarding this race strategy do you think here track position is king like it was in China case?

Now regarding Merc strategy, Bottas could slipstream both Lewis and Vettel had he stays in DRS window for the first part of the race ... had he couldn`t then he`ll come in first forcing Seb to come in in order not to be undercut ...

Then Lewis could stay out longer and having his car`s setup with more top speed could defend easily even though Seb or Red Bull drivers have the pace in hand over him ...

And finally, staying in the dirty air behind a car could lead to help the tyres coming into their operation window? It would be nice if someone has the operation windows for all the 2018 tyres ...

Carey's mustache is made of carbon fibre. It didn't move in that wind. Hamilton needs that front end grip.

Always find the gap then use it.

It's the first time Mercedes has two RBRs directly behind them. Could be dangerous

Who will struggle to get their tyres up to temperature? With that head wind too. F2 restart all over again.

Vettel managed that very well, seems like he got his tires temps up perfectly.

He was clever. Kept the speed low into that first corner

ferrari a lot quicker in middle sector, mercedes in the last. If hamilton is anywhere near vettel is toast.
