What is Toro Rosso’s problems, are they just struggling to switch the tyres on? Both drivers seem to be lacking speed

I guess if the 3rd best chassis (some argue it might be the best on the grid) with the 3rd best engine can't get into top 10, what hope does a small team with the GP2 engine have?

Also think Honda's lacking top speed, not to mention the QP shenanigans. Optimism from Bahrain has all but evaporated.

good on hartley but very lucky to score 1 point. gasly probably had a clash with magnuesson which meant both mag and gasly lost points. shame. TR need to work out why they cant switch the tyres on. in the soft the tyres were ok. but ultra soft was bad just only few laps and no grip at all

It seems that this chassis has a lot of issues with the tires but on top of it the team has troubles with the race strategy. This was the most stupid thing to start from back positions with US despite that this is the most problematic compound for TR. Gasly was smart enough to get 7th place after the start havoc, but his tires were gone and as well cold as stone after the SC. Instead to pit immediately for new tires, they left him to drop on 14th place. The pace on the straights seems good, so I wouldn't blame Honda for this lack of performance.

HAHA i jinxed it they finished 7 and 9 crazy last 12 laps
STR dropping as if they forget how to set up the car properly Gasly was able to over take a Renault but lost 7 positions after that i think in less than 4 minutes i wonder whats going on...
