McLaren the first to test Liberty Media's new zero-liability Halo successor, The SHIELD (Something Huge & Impenetrable Enveloping Le Driver), during Bahrain testing on Friday. Investors call it a win-win, citing improved safety as well improved on-track action for fans due to increased wheel-to-wheel action (necessitated because it's the only way drivers can tell what's going on outside the car).

Those low nose rules really prevent cars from climbing on to each other. Now they are diving below each other. And thats way better?

Not sure the Halo would keep all parts away from the drivers head
