Wehrlien Got dropped for being a diva, why would TR hire him?

He didn't get dropped for being a diva where did you hear that from? Lol. He got pushed asid because of Ferrari money that's what. Wherlein was a match for Ocon if not slightly faster so TR has a know quantity if they go with him. I dont know how or when the link up was made but as Ted Kravitz gathers it these talks between Pascal and TR are the bulk of the paddock romours now.

I can't point to specific reports (my memory isn't that good) but last year there were multiple reports of him basically being difficult to work with and this being noticed by other teams too.

Weeelll, Vasseur, team principal Sauber, said at the presentation of the new Sauber that the reason for Wehrlein losing his seat was that Wehrlein is/was a Mercedes pilot, and it is simply not fitting for a team now named Sauber Alfa Romeo (and having a tight link to Ferrari).

But the juicy part is that Vasseur said that also other considerations were taken into account.
He did not say that Wehrlein was a bad teamplayer, but said that Ericsson was the better one.

Secondly, at the FI tests in during 2016, FI alledgedly said that Wehrlein was behaving like a little diva, and that the mechanics when asked said they would prefer Ocon over Wherlein.
I believe that this is the source of this rumour.

Basically Ericsson brings more money and Ocon is more likeable. Luckily for Wehrlein, I don't think Helmut Marko gives a damn about either of those reasons. :)

Bring likeable is not the same as behaving like a diva!

Leclerc to Haas next year. At this rate, you'd have to think he'd be taking Grosjean's seat.

I can't recall the GP, but he was repeatedly told by his engineer to shut down and tried to continue the race/session. That must have alone endeared him to the team

A Diva can be quick. As seen today.

For Monaco... Gro has always been a wasted seat in my mind. I'd rather see Ericsson and his development budget in that seat TBH.

Didn’t Manor refer to him as β€˜Princess Pascal’ or something?

Alonso is the biggest Diva of them all and i don't see anyone complaining. Pascal is an obedient little elf compared to him.

Returns on the effort.

You get good returns on Alonso
