The Abu Dhabi 2010 GP fizzled out when Alonso was stuck behind Petrov (legitimately), I'd hate for a great race to be ruined in a similar fashion.
At the same track in 2012 the STRs left the track to assist Vettel passing them after he started in the pitlane, so as someone mentions above, I'd hate inter-team politics to decide or manipulate a race. F1 has many problems at the moment but the blue flags is not one of them.
