I'm guessing that if you could graph Bernie's controversial statements (macro level)against a graph of interest in F1 (micro level), you'd see that whenever interest is waning (between races, middle of off-season, any slow news period) Bernie uncorks one of these statements that leads to lots of emotional comments, mostly without any point.

Every F1 driver is faster than any of us can even imagine. And braver, and in better physiccal condition, and with better hand-eye coordination, etc, etc, etc.

I'd really really love to talk with one of those guys. Any engineer or Pedro Mtz de la Rosa would be excellent. Hearing their opinions and hindsight would be superb. Of course, being driven round a track would be excellent too. I mean, probably even Alex Yoong is faster than anybody else posting in this forum (no offense to Ciro and the other racers)
I am not amazed by F1 cars in Monaco. I want to see them driving in the A8 highway: Variable radius corners, negative banking, and extreme narrowings that Tilke has never dreamed off. Oh, yes, and "beautiful" weather tops it all.
