i don't know but last time i heard its easier to manage the cooling by having the oil and water radiator separated in two pods.bassimon wrote:I also noticed the smaller openings at the right sidepod in front and at the chimney (see two posts above). This is a very interesting photo is there any more information regarding the origins of it? I was reading study earlier this week in RacecarEngineering that spoke of improving the aerodynamics on a simple Formula Ford racer and from just taping off 50% of the area of the sidepods (however in the direction perpendicular to the route tried here by Macca)they had significantly reduced drag.modbaraban wrote:
