I was more directing towards the fact that the undercut sidepods will be out next year, which means that we are probably going to have tall but thin sidepod openings that are similar to the F92. With the banned winglets, and improved cooling technology, I see the inlets going from horizontal (McLaren) to vertical, and possibly very close to the driver.scarbs wrote:Sadly, with the new rules effectively banning undercut bodywork, the twin floor design would never be legal.
There are some mock up images on here, and there has been MUCH discussion as to what the cars will look like next year.
I simply cannot wait, expecially since Honda has already stated that the new regs actually reduce DF levels by 25% instead of the intended 50%. Add slicks to that equasion, and a "boost" button for the KERS, and we may be back into 1000bhp cars with a LOT of downforce.
F1 could actually BE F1 again!
