Not at all, but certainly looks ominous. Both teams are now at their final spec engines, so it's not like major improvements can be made by either team without bagging penalties.NathanOlder wrote: ↑26 Aug 2018, 16:19So now if a car is faster at 1 track , its the title over ? Lol
Reliability wise Ferrari seems better also, but we could say there's always in a season one technical issue at least.Sierra117 wrote: ↑26 Aug 2018, 16:23Not at all, but certainly looks ominous. Ferrari has always been great on tyres and those weird tracks like Monaco, Singapore, etc. Merc only had PU power but this season Ferrari has everything covered. So many times we've seen Ferrari overtake on lap 1, on launch, after safety car restart ... I can barely remember a Merc being able to do any of that. Except maybe Bottas recently.
Isn't it normally Ferrari that finds more performance after an upgrade? Well this year it certainly seems sodans79 wrote:I hope Mercedes finds something with the mapping and testing they have been doing between races!
Ferrari are historically shocking at mid season updates.
