I'm hearing that live races are not available in Australia due to Foxtel contract issues.

Anyone else know more about this ?

Thanks

Can anyone update on the service how it currently behaves? Is it already improved? Or still slow and not working most of the time?

WatchESPN is my choice in the US. Free with my Xfinity account, commercial free, HD, and buffer free.

Can't see paying extra for FOM coverage with that service available. 2-3 years ago, Yes!

FP works fine for me. Haven't tried watching Qualifying yet and the race livestream is still quite laggy.

It wasn't for me in Austria. I watched the race online and everything was fine.

Is anybody else having audio cut-offs when watching the stream? Like Croft and Brundle are discussing something and then they suddenly shut up only to restart talking 2-3s later. And I just remebered: it seems Iike I'm having some audio overlaping problems with team radio and Sky commentary. Anybody else?

And another question: how do you set up the side by side view of two drivers?

Same problems with audio.

And picture-in-picture is not available yet. IIRC they said that will be available later with apps for phones and TVs

Is there any info on future service upgrades?

Eg. PIP or apps for other platforms? Can we expect anything this season or should that be ready for next?

I really hope that FOM will find their own commentators for next season (English language). I have nothing against SkyF1 crew, they do their job well most of the times, but it just dosn't work for me through F1TV. I mean, when they show their PiP stuff when Ted shows something on the cars or when Davidson analyses mistakes or crashes you can hear what they are trying to show, but you can't see it on F1TV and it just gets confusing. Not to mention that their sound is constantly cutting off, or that in FP1 yesterday it was so quiet that you could barely hear some mumbling in a background. Plus, after few months of not having it now we hear their SkyF1 theme music whenever they cut to commercials even though we don't have theme here.
