Aint that the truth...some super agressive yet fair racing...

Well this should spice things up!

Ross Brawn has been quoted as saying that Hamilton's drive was in the same class as Michael Schumacher's best drives..

I can't imagine anyone saying Brawn doesn't know what he's talking about!

a lot of gr8 ppl have quoted that hamiltons drive is one of the best
let the whole world say that he was bad at driving
but deep down everyone knows that he is growing in confidence day after day

and everyone should remember that this is only his second season

i dont think so there ever be a rookie in his first season who will ever miss out the world championship by just one point

i have seen a video of lewis where he was juggling with a football and it was really neat .. this just goes to show that the guy is a natural sports person and really talented
and he does show a lot of emotion. like when he makes a mistake he openly says that he has done so . it also shows his honesty

yes that was fantastic racing, nearly the best racing i have ever seen

only topped by the super sports race in assen this year

bikes however dont have down force, perhaps a lesson there

great drive by lewis,

personally i think they didnt pit him during the saftey car after Montreal :-) lol

My sentiments exactly.. at first I thought to my self damm that was some dirty driving by Lewis, then I watched the replays and he held his line against Massa. The one against Piquet questionable.... he bullied Nelson.

What websites are taking bets on what team Kovalainen with be with in 2009? McLaren is treating him like yesterday's rubbish. Kovalinen's car body language at the finish of the German GP was very Alonso-esque after giving Hamilton a free pass in the German GP. My ex-UK collegues have let me down on placing bets in the UK on surefire deals so I need help. To make matters worse, my local bar (Pub No 7 in Rocky River, Ohio, USA)has taken down my 2007 McLaren flag because it is so wimpy compared to other UK team flags.

What I loved was the rather common mistakes made by the ITV presenters, "Lewis Hamilton is flying in the Ferrari" anyone? Er... Wut?

On a more serious note, fantastic race by Hamilton which I loathe to say being a big Kimi fan and seeing his performance this weekend was disheartening in the same way the 2006 season was for me. Glock's smash was pretty horrendous hopefully Toyota and Glock will be more careful to make sure these failures don't happen again.

Thumbs up to Vettel for proving his stock :) also thumbs up for Piquet for finally getting the results he needs.

At school Lewis used to play on the school football team alongside Aston Villa football player Ashely Young, with a players like that alongside you at school you have to be pretty good to get into the team I guess lol.

About the race though, yes lewis drive was great after dropping back, and yes I still think the SC rules about not pitting are crazy (speaking of which did you see the comments Mark Webber had to make on the matter after Piquet was gifted a "lucky" second place? Ouch! lol) BUT even though I dislike those rules I have to admit, it did make was was turning out to be a pretty boring race into and more interesting one.

God only knows what was going on with Kimi's car, I guess sometimes people can struggle to tune the car (or even themselves) into a circuit.

I don't get webbos point

under the old SC rules piquet would still have ended up where he was

shame glock had to go off like that to make it into a race

saying that had lewis pitted under the SC it wouldn't have been much
to watch either

Actually, if Hamilton had pitted under the safety car, Hamilton would have 30+ laps worth of fuel, and the softer compound tires. Released from the safety car with 27 laps to go, most likely Hamilton's tires would have degraded so much that in the last ten laps he would be driving a very different, uncomfortable and much slower car. Then things would have become very interesting.
Racing should be decided on the track, not the court room.

hadn't thought of that

i think i preferred it the way it turned out anyway

to much to speculate if piquet or massa would have it left in them to fight

Saw this on another site's forum:
The engine of car number 22 is kept sealed in order to carry out further checks according to Article 5 of the 2008 FIA Formula One Technical Regulations. These checks will be done before the Hungarian GP.
Anyone know anything about this?

Ahh good nothing too suspicious. Just the FIA making sure all the engines are as they should be, I expect Ferrari have been picked on too this year...
