Agreed. No comparison. The closest I can think of off the top of my head was Schuie trying to put Rubens in the wall to prevent him overtaking. That would have been a big crash.

Vettel crashing in to Hamilton was nothing compared to the idiot grabbing another rider's brake lever.

I'm sorry, but as stupid and dangerous as Michael's manouver was, I don't think it was as serious as intentionally crashing into someone else under a Safety Car just to vent some frustration.

Just like drag the danger rises exponentially with speed.

Michael's manouver may have been more dangerous, I agree. But at least he had the excuse of defending against an overtake, while Vettel was just being a prick and banging cars to show how irrational he is when things don't go his way.

Taming in what sense? Can't tell from the article. There are 'big-bang' sceptics on this forum; I point you to a few of TC's posts:

Essentially, how could individual firing moments be felt by the tire contact patch? Regardless of how they are spaced. Driveline elasticity should absorb this. Beneficial effects, if any, of variations upon crank throw angle may have more to do with intake and/or exhaust flow dynamics.

Grabbing the brakes is the equivalent of Seb bashing in to Lewis @ Baku. Still amazed to this day how he didn't get a race ban.

It is not about taming, they achieved almost perfect throttle response giving the riders great confidence in controlling the rear tyre. But it has limitations on peak power.

& the fact that Yamaha stayed 'inhouse' for theirs, rather getting onboard with Magneti-Marelli - a mistake

Real sad display in Q1 today with a whole gaggle of riders hanging about waiting to follow one of the top guys on a hot lap. It looked like at least both Lorenzo and Marquez had to abandon their first flyer because there was just no space. Iannone in particular was shamelessly shadowing Marquez the whole time he was on track. They didn't really complain in post q interviews but it looked pathetic.
