So, I recently started using CATIA, and I must say WOWOWOW! I have used AutoCAD since R14, and I must say that CATIA makes AutoCAD 2007 look like a DOS based program with very little actual use. The killer thing, however, is that the methods that I tried using in ACAD, and failed miserably, hundreds of times, seems to be the way that CATIA works. The first time that I even scribbled in CATIA, I was making and modifying some pretty complex shapes, and I was amazed as to how simple it was to use.
I have never been this excited about a software before! I thought MS Visio was the cats-ass for what it does, but now I have a program that allows me to, literally, draw anything that comes to mind. After about 5 hours of usage, and rather confident with about 25% of the program, and considering its complexity, that is quite a lot, but its intuitiveness is simply staggering, so it makes it much easier.
I don't really know where I am going with this except that if there are any other users on this forum (I'm sure that there are several), I am very interested in any more available tutorials or communities that are GOOD QUALITY.
Does anyone have some renders that they want to share on here?
