McLaren driver Heikki Kovalainen has won his maiden Grand Prix of his career after major rivals suffered bad luck. At first Hamilton suffered a tyre puncture and 3 laps from the end, the leading Ferrari of Felipe Massa blew its engine. Timo Glock is a magnificent second, ahead of Raikkonen.
I wonder why McLaren doesn't use any of the major aero updates - 4-plane front wing (possibly useful for Hungary), sharkfin, nose winglets.
They have problem with windtunnel calibration? Maybe they update mechanical parts extensively and use aero as a disguise?
Watching FP1, the cars are much faster this year than they have been in a while -- Massa's fastest is quicker than any time set in FP1 in either 2004 or 2005
