No, they didn't, because Gasly couldn't test it enough during the rain on Friday.

Final proof to all the blind worshippers that Mclaren has a draggy car and it aint the engine that is and was the issue for the lowest top speed. Drag penalty is highest at higher speed and Macca were slowest car in terms of top speed. Toro rosso just does not have the traction out of corners hence the slowest speed at finish line but the top speed is decent.
Well, if you look at the data, Mclaren was loosing most of the speed in the corners, not on the straights. Which is because they ran a low DF setup due to drag issues etc.McMika98 wrote: ↑23 Oct 2018, 20:42Final proof to all the blind worshippers that Mclaren has a draggy car and it aint the engine that is and was the issue for the lowest top speed. Wake up man. So even after all that drag reduction the car had lowest top speed!!! Regardless, time through corners is the metric one need to look at; not speed Look at sector 2 data is all i say.
I'm not so sure, the step up the order came with the introduction of the new engine - running the old one again this weekend shouldn't be a major disadvantage, but aero wise I can't really see where having the upper hand over Renault, Force India, Haas and so on should come from. And if the new wing comes with an improvement at all is yet to be seen as well
