The problem with America is that they won't watch unless there's a team and driver waving the flag list Armstrong did for cycling and the women's soccer team did a few years back. It's just how things are wired. There are many hard core American fans, it's just that it's way under represented given the population and purchasing power.

The daft thing about the focus on the USA is that there is already a well established alternative series in Indy Car.

Well... they are proposing total non sense in place of exact and accurate info.

That's the USA way? Don't think so. Simply it could be they want to dumb down worldwide. And after that, they will do whatever they want without nobody able to properly complaining about it.

I agree with both Bug Tea and AJI.
I didn't go to the poll so I don't see how America got drawn into the conversation. :?
Are you lumping Liberty in with ALL Americans? The new front wing? I think that came from the working group not Americans.
They damn sure don't represent this F1 fan.
Part of me doesn't like the idea but part of me agrees with Steve Matchett when he says F1 has gone backwards since 1993 and that F1 should have semi automatic transmissions, four wheel steering, anti lock brakes etc... Maybe even the McLaren tractor brakes.
