This is probably one of the reasons why McLaren wants their own Indycar team, because you could make a great package deal for the US and the global market.

It's one of their biggest selling points as of late, introduced by Zak. He's been marketing the whole Mclaren Group, like with Dell. I'm also interested to see whether the 'Long-Term Partnership' with OnePlus ends up on the livery as well.

Think about that answer on the Coca cola question..... You saying that Coke's advertising budget is 0? They obviously choose to advertise in other ways than F1. Monster Energy Drinks, that is owned by coke, obviously advertises in F1. Now whether that's a contract that existed prior-to the 2015 Coke purchase of Monster. I don't know.

Monster Energy Drinks, that is owned by coke, obviously advertises in F1. Now whether that's a contract that existed prior-to the 2015 Coke purchase of Monster. I don't know.

Cokes marketing budget is not zero obviously lol but they already spend a lot. You see coke EVERYWHERE. It's there in your local McDonald's, in your movie theater, it's there on your TV and everywhere. The reason why they are not in f1 is because they are getting much better value targeting their target audience which is typically younger people elsewhere.

I read this in Soymotor but didn't think it was authentic enough a source. Plausible but still a rumor.
