No low-rev rattle like the Honda RA618H.

I was looking forward to some revs, but none. Could that be because it might give some of their game away?

Ferrari already had the most dieselly sound last season. I’ve not noticed that the dominant ICE sound of Mercedes turned into a dieselly one with Spec 3 last season.

To me it doesn't sound dieselly, but more like a sewing machine!
This is supposed to be a compliment, but somehow it's not.

The sewing machine sound is loud alright but u can hear almost "diesel knock" underneath it.

Oh, that's what you mean. I misunderstood you then. Where does this diesel knock come from, you think?

Probably because it’s connected to mechanichal extraction with catalization.

You know huwhat?
I listened to it with headphones and I don't quite hear the diesel knock anymore when I replay the audio clip.
I guess my speakers are cheap. When I go home I try again on my big speakers.
