(i'm aware there is only info regarding last year on here but hopefully he'll do a similar analysis this year)

He was cruising around for a few laps before that happened. On timing screens did not look like he was pushing.

Raikkonen tops morning session of day 3 at Barcelona

Alfa Romeo's Kimi Raikkonen seems to have confirmed that the new C38 is no slouch, something that followers had already expected based on their performances in the first two days of testing.

Yup! Looks like C5 to me too. Pirelli sucks with their tire markings this year. C1 and C2, C4 and C5 are barely distinguishable. Same color, but one has stripes and the other doesn't.

Well, fuel load is another explanation. However i was refering to the low 1:18 lap that vettel posted. Haven't seen the mercs do this. Regarding the longrun pace: you never know if it's the powermodes, fuel amount or a combination of both. Or even different downforce and drag levels. For example RedBull announced that they'll mount a new wing with more downforce now...

1.18.800 HUL without DRS C4....
Yep, considering that DRS gives you about half a second laptime...
I think that's even more, arround 0,7s/0,8s per lap with the old DRS configuration... this year he's bigger !

I don't know how he is still employed, every thing that comes out of his mouth sounds like he just pulled it out of his backside.
