I don't know if/what Hamilton said over the radio, but I would have had a few choice words to share.

I still think Kubica's return was a mistake.
I don't. Hamilton's team should have told him Kubica was slow ahead unless he just all of a sudden slowed. Likewise, Williams should have let Kubica know where Hamilton was.
He was moving damn slow at the apex.

Funny; Honda engines had more track time than Mercedes or Renault!
Williams did only 88 laps but still good for Honda.

Got this video for a bit of an analysis! This was when Lewis almost crashed into Kubica when Lewis was on a flying lap on C3. Observe the STRAT dial! I believe the START setting is 6 or 7 (4m40 onwards). Below is also the Mercedes wheel picture.

Bottas just did an 1:18.1 on his 16th lap of a stint on C2 tyres
that's it then, pack it up bois
I would pack it up very easy but this would be the single most interesting stint of the test so far and I cannot find it anywhere...so please source.
It was on the Autosport live feed. They actually stated that Bottas posted the time on his 16th lap on a stint of running on the C2 tyres

Strat 6 is Race High SOC and Strat 7 is Race Low SOC. Both lower power race settings if they haven't changed it.

Ferrari: 1489/3 = 496 per engine
Honda: 957/2 = 478 per engine
Mercedes: 946/3 =315 per engine (with assumption that Williams would do 100 laps per day (946-88+400)/3 = 419 per engine)
Renault: 878/2 = 439 per engine

- So the highly anticipated first winter test is over and the biggest outcome is, Mercedes is out of championship fight.
- Some highly rated experts on these forums have opined that, Mercedes should focus on next year as this year is over for them.
- Ferrari is the best car on the grid, as observed by all and sundry.
- The almighty Christian Horner knows for sure that, Ferrari is half a second (or may be more) ahead of Mercedes.
- His highness Helmut Marko thinks that, they are ahead of Mercedes and the gap to Ferrari is much less.
- Toto Wolff is going straight to Stuggart to submit his resignation and has already received the resignation from James Allison.

Finally, a much needed change for the F1 world. Ferrari is going to dominate the season with Red Bull challenging them. But I would like to go with Gary' thesis of estimating the performance and would like to see Toro Rosso and Renault fight for championship.

Changed it so the mode he was in was the highest possible power they can possibly produce no doubt

Honda changed to 2nd unit for RBR on Wed tho, originally they were supposed to run only single PU for 1st test but had to change it due to Gasly crash on Tue

For STR you can assume just one unit, or not more than 2 at max as well. Can assume Merc and Ferrari used only 1 PU for all car, wonder how Renault is.

Then you're not thinking critically as you simply have no reason to think so yet.

I'm just glad days of atrocious reliablity for renault/honda are over so we can have some genuine racing again troughout the field and possibly troughout the entire year. Last couple of years there were just too many engine related variables and penalties, so maybe after 6 years of development everyone has finally gotten it right. Hopefully.

Yes, I omitted that. I just want to do quick calculation "per engine" to see if any manufacturer stays out. And they not. If we look for "pure data" per engine then Ferrari have most of it. But still it looks like the manufacturers have more less the same overview from test. May b Ferrari is in slight advantage as they are able to extract more data from all teams, even though HAAS has issues and lost some track time.
