F1.com:Sainz watched some of yesterday's running from trackside with his friend and McLaren predecessor Fernando Alonso, who no doubt provided some useful feedback on both McLaren's performance and the F1 2019 cars in general.
Some positive news...Norris ended up on top of the pile last night - now his team mate Sainz is getting into the mix, with a 1m 18.878s good enough to displace Verstappen. The McLaren pit crew were working long into the night, and deserve some credit for sending out such a competitive charger first thing today.
You know, I saw that and said to myself "Typical". Red Bull go quick, it ominous, McLaren go quick, it's a glory run. Who does a glory run on C3 tyres at 09:52 during testing?FittingMechanics wrote: ↑27 Feb 2019, 10:58"09:52 He is in the second sector too. Another McLaren glory run in the offing?"
Autosport. How annoying. Glory run on C3 tires. Yes guys, that's what they are doing, they don't have things to do, like testing aero parts and correlation?
if you follow live commentary on autosport/sky you can see a clear trend.they have already declared mclaren is 9th and williams is 10th. their coverage is totally against mclaren. if mclaren goes purple in any sector , they pop glory run slang.
Trying not to read to much, or get excited, so I'll call it an interesting lap time, taking the time of day into consideration.
Many so called "arm chair downforce/drag experts" will commit suicide if mclaren ends up fighting redbull in australia.
