Mercedes is adamant not to show any real pace until qualifying.
Yeah same as every year in recent times. And still the media are almost writing them off #-o
Which is completely logical.
A race has a few very important elements. The first stint is very important. They are always run on the softest tire with full tanks, due to the full tanks they are far away from qualifying pace. Then the ability to run with half tanks average a set delta on medium or hard tires. Low fuel load only comes with very worn tires.

Top qualifying pace a so track specific with trim and if your balance is good, it will come.

Apart from Mercedes teams haven't really bolted on lots of upgrades in week 2... That's very surprising to me.

Will we see stuff in Melbourne?

Only the midgrid teams showed what they can do, Mclaren, Renault, Sauber, Racing Point, STR...
And even then the picture isn't clear.

we will see for sure. Redbull said that this isnt the same car as in melbourne. Most of the teams will come with a lot new things for the first race.

"FERRARI losing almost the whole day due to technical problem while Mercedes completed a 'whopping'number of laps…."Problem after problem"- following technical gremlins with cooling system, FERRARI was dogged by other technical problems". problem after problems means a lot of problems. Balazs out to have said/told us what all those technical problems were. As far as I know FERRARI didn't lose any track time due to having to replace turbos, engines and gearboxes.

Running constant speed on start-finish line, obviously doing aero evaluation with fixed speed. He has a rake mounted.

They will run like normal, or even a bit more.

what i think is that the mercedes already looks really straight forward with a shitload of details. It will be not so easy for them to bring new things to the car. So yes, maybe thats nearly the car we will se at melbourne.
