We shouldn't draw conclusion neither just yet. The crash looks strange.FittingMechanics wrote: ↑28 Feb 2019, 16:37Getting that chassis fixed will be a challenge.
He was on a race sim, he shouldn't have been pushing that hard so I'm going to assume reliability issue but we'll see. Young guns tend to be reckless.
"M" has fitted some secret weapons on that Merc, which can shoot an invisible bullet to kill the car ahead.FittingMechanics wrote: ↑28 Feb 2019, 16:38Maybe he got hit in the rim by a foreign object! Was there a Mercedes behind him?
Deatthrack!!! I LOVED that game.GPR -A wrote: ↑28 Feb 2019, 16:40"M" has fitted some secret weapons on that Merc, which can shoot an invisible bullet to kill the car ahead.FittingMechanics wrote: ↑28 Feb 2019, 16:38Maybe he got hit in the rim by a foreign object! Was there a Mercedes behind him?
I am not fully convinced by Gasly (yet). Also last year in the Toro there were some weird spins on occasion. But lets first wait to see what happened before we condemn (any further) ).
LEC stint is clearly faster but C2 tyres probably means it s not a first stint simulation since teams tend to start on softer tyres. As much as I have observed over the days, C2 is more reliable and has much less degradation pattern and C3 is degrading much faster. That is the case across the cars, including Ferrari and Mercedes.Big Mangalhit wrote: ↑28 Feb 2019, 16:48LEC stint is clearly faster but C2 tyres probably means it s not a first stint simulation since teams tend to start on softer tyres. I mean sure, but maybe he started his first sting with only 2/3 of the tank full to simulate second stint whilst Bottas could be starting with full tank to simulate first stint. This would also aggravate the faster degradation of the C3 tyres which already have a fast deg as pointed by GPR-ALM10 wrote: ↑28 Feb 2019, 16:51It was his first stint, he started it on C2.Big Mangalhit wrote: ↑28 Feb 2019, 16:48LEC stint is clearly faster but C2 tyres probably means it s not a first stint simulation since teams tend to start on softer tyres.
