I’d love to know how comparable Vettels time is vs. Leclercs from yesterday.
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

S1 - 21.905
S2 - 28.454
S3 - 26.189

were Bottas 3 sector times. That was over a tenth slower than Sainz in S1 today. So surely the Mercedes has time in hand in S1 , or has Renault got a beast of an engine for that 1st sector ?

Do we know Leclerc's 3 sector times from yesterday ?? Would really like to know.

The top speed in each sector of each driver's fastest lap is not necessarily the speed they had in this particular lap. For some reason they put the fastest lap the driver had until then, no matter if they set an even faster lap with faster sectors, but slower speeds at the traps.

To give an example: Vettel's fastest second sector was a 28.221 today, but the speed in that lap was at 302, not 307 as it says in the timing on YouTube right now.

17:04 Vettel's first flying lap lowers the benchmark further to a 1m16.221s on the C5 compound.

Don’t forget that last year they qualified on that tire with a 16.3. And now the track is faster.

That was a strong round from Vettel on the medium-hard Pirelli (C3). Then he travels the 16 corners in 1: 16.7 minutes. If you subtract now the tire disadvantage, it lands in the high 1: 15 range. - AMUS

So right now we have for Ferrari:

Best
C2: 1m17.253s LEC
C3: 1m16,720s VET
C4:
C5: 1m16.221s VET

That is only about 1s difference between C2-C5 which either Pirelli overestimated their differences or Ferrari is not pushing at all the C5 (probably mostly the latter and a bit of the former?)

Does anybody has more information like this and with other teams in mind. Maybe we could see if they have bigger deltas between compounds. It would be a nice collective work to compile all the data

It could also be that the C5 doesn't quite last the lap, but there is potential for it to do so by Pirelli's estimate.

C5 doesnt' give that much laptime on this track. There's enough load going trough the tires in those fast turns and so temps aren't a problem. Remember last year when some people didn't know if they should use SS or S in their Q3 runs because the difference was so small. On a track like monaco C5 would probably give 2s over C2, maybe even more.

Yup. However the gap of ~0,5sec between C2 and C3 is realistic.

Nice gesture. But slightly weird that it is sorted by first name #OCD
