Does Autosport mean the Dev 3 tires?

That information is incorrect. According to AMuS and Autosports own update, Hamilton should be on the prototype tire (Dev3).

Autosport: 14:36 Hamilton takes the Mercedes back out on a set of unmarked tyres.
AMuS: Ja. Hamilton zieht wieder an. Wir erkennen keine Markierung an den Pirellis. Hamilton fährt den Prototyp.
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

Found this on Reddit. Williams are honouring their staff by placing their names on the rear wing support. https://i.redd.it/f2zequ817hj21.jpg
Hoping to buy them off and avoid public disgrace when lawsuits over salaries start?
OR it was just a good gesture.

See, this is why I dislike toto’s approach. This is much more neutral and rational. And in many ways, responsible...

From sky sports:

"I’m happy to know that Hamilton believes we are faster," says Mattia Binotto. "I believe they are very strong.

"I believe that Mercedes will be very, very strong in Australia, and I think it would be completely wrong to think we are faster than them.

"I'm not expecting them to be behind us. I think they will be very, very close."

What Toto is doing and what Lewis did in the latest news cycle is apply pressure. Ferrari/Vettel Have shown to be vulnerable when pressure/expectations are put on them. This is psychological warfare 101.

Actually, mutatis mutandis, Binotto played exactly the same game of Toto: they are both playing down their own team.
Infact evidence show (apparently) ferrari a bit faster and toto says much faster while binotto says as fast as merc so it's the same IMHO

Didn't Bottas do more lap on his opening stint, though? I may be wrong here... but just wondering...

Mattia only says it is wrong to write off Mercedes (as so many in the media are foolishly doing). He also says Mercedes will be very strong, and very close to Ferrari. All, I think, true with 90%+ probability.

What Toto is doing in quite different. He’s saying Ferrari are ahead by X amount... quite different, IMHO

Both downplaying their chances, yes, but one in a way that respects the fans and their knowledge (mattia) and one which serves only the lowest common denominator who doesn’t know anything about f1 so won’t know any better (Toto).

The problem is, the people Toto is appealing to with his patently misleading claims are not the majority of F1 fans. People who like f1 are, in general, a little more engaged in the finer detail

I think you are giving the average fan far to much credit. Imo, the average fan isn't as well informed, I mean just look at the ridiculous tire naming scheme we have this year, that was put in place for the average fan who couldn't remember the difference between a handful of compounds.

No more ridiculous than the previous tyre naming scheme which also got blasted on here for being dumbed down nonsense.
