Why dont you guys just predict your own list and have fun, why the need to pick one member who gave HIS prediction?
Because they are upset and don't like the order he gave.

I predict we will see a lot of fan crying this year and the mods will get frazzled, specially if the season pans out the way i think it will.
LOL, yeah....it is gonna be mayhem :D

Children, children....the season has not started yet , and you are at each others throats already. Baiting and fanboy comments are going to get removed, so it is pointless posting them. F1 is a sport and it should be possible to discuss it amicably and without resorting to insults etc. So please calm down.

I'd like that, but I doubt that will happen!

Can we please get a much more amicable season this year? Without infighting and without competing for the "he's such a team X hater!" amount of comments cup? Nobody cares if you are a Ferrari, Mercedes, Sauber, McLaren,... fan. Show sportmanship.

Predictions? as last year for top 3. Williams the other end. All the others, write their name on a tile and drop them on the board.

Let me see, who should improve. Renault, Mclaren, Alfa, STR, Haas ? OK make them the next rank. That just about sorts it then? Force a point?

The two wild cards seem to be Alfa and STR.
Mclaren are going to be good this year, but they always are.
Haas always seem to be there for the first race. Williams missing for the first race. Point whatever are a complete unknown, but should at least punch their weight while treading water.

OK, I give up !!! Personally I think the one to watch is STR, flowed by Alfa then Mclaren. Otherwise, top three as was, then I do not have a clue, then Williams
When arguing with a fool, be sure the other person is not doing the same thing.

Im calling it that qualifying is going to show a huge STR surprise. I think STR will be fighting with Ferrari for pole, ahead of both RBR and Merc.

Lets not forget Albert Park is a bit of an odd track and probably not what any of the car designs were optimized for. So the relative performance here could be shaken up a bit, not to mention it's the first race.

We should be cautious about drawing too many absolutes from this weekend....but at least it's better than basing off testing times.

Pole time prediction - between 1m20.5xx to 1m20.8xx. Other than top 2 teams, most cars are likely register slower times than last year!

Can't we have a point given out in each race thread for the best put down? At the end of the season, the winner of most points gets to be a mod for a month, just to see what it's like from the other side.

Hulkenburgs tyre choice is pretty odd. He is the only one running just a single set of mediums.
Perhaps he's going to run a one-stopper with one stint on the hard, but it would be strange to have that planned so long away from the race.

No because I perceive any other moderator as a threat to my own position and will do grievous things to hold on to it  .

(I do like the thought however)

All about qualifying here. Ferrari is going to be strong, pace-wise. We'll find out where Merc really is. Interested in Ferrari's reliability and tire degradation in warmer conditions, as well.

Will be interesting to see whether there is any improvement in overtaking during the race, considering Albert Park is one of the hardest circuits on the schedule to overtake at.
