Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

Verstappen went ridiculously slow, he shouldn't be surprised that he was overtaken before the last corner.

So ferrari are slower than last year by 0.8 sec and mercedes are faster! Let's just hope its only this gp..because we want a tight fight for both championships! Even RBR are slower than last year!

1. Track temp was decreasing from 35 to 32 degrees Celsius which played in Ferraris' hands
2. Max didn`t do his final hot lap for being stopped by the driver's train created by Lewis ... he said that robbed him the 3rd place on the grid, so just 2 tenths behind Merc ... not bad at all ...
3. Seems that over time in his career each time Lewis has had a perfect car was beaten by his team colleague ... he prevailed only when he hasn`t had a perfect car, something like M.Schumacher, Senna, Alonso did in the past ...

This is surely impossible, I think you are making a mistake.

It looks like you're a Hamilton hater 😁 it's not Hamilton's fault that RBR released their cars so late..and max was so slow that's why everyone was overtaking him. It's only the 3rd race of the season and you assumed he was beaten by his teammate 😁

Q2 on Medium fastest lap: 1:31.637

Q3 on Soft fastest lap: 1:31.547

Q3 on soft is less than 0.1s faster than Q2.

Is there something wrong?

But only for Merc. The Ferrari and Redbull improved a lot on the softs. Merc for some reason seems to struggle on the softest compound

Pirelli also raised minimum tyre pressures which seems to always hindered Ferrari. Possible contributor to why they were slower this year than last year. Also track temp. Last year was V cold for quali from memory.

At least from Merc side, that means they weren`t in the sweet spot but opting to run the soft tyres in Q3 for that 8 tenths delta to the medium ones ...
And from not improving in the last sector of their last hot lap means they overheated them ... despite Lewis slowing down all the drivers behind him in his warm-up lap ...

Ah, I see. I thought you meant Ferrari was 0.8 sec slower than last year, while Merc (0.3 sec ahead of Ferrari) were faster than last year.

Ferrari had twin battery trick or oil turbo boost trick last year for this race and Baku.

Then that seemingly got banned then they came up with their other trick around Austria and were flying at Silverstone and Germany. Two years worth of engine development, acceleration out of corners. Again seemingly got banned around Russia time.
