Anyone noticed that this year, tyre comes with a glossy finish when they are brand new, and slowly turns into a more matte finish as they wear down.Morteza wrote: ↑11 Apr 2019, 12:36https://imgr3.auto-motor-und-sport.de/R ... 546155.jpg

The layout is near identical to Merc's last year. They have a radiator sitting on top the intake plenum also. What's interesting is it looks like they have gone back to bag wrapping the exhaust manifold. They did this with the 2017 RA617 but for 2018, the RA618 had clearly stepped up the size of each runner and gone to individually wrapping them. They said in 2017 there was no gain in wrapping them separately, strange they are jumping back and forth.gandharva wrote: ↑14 Apr 2019, 10:18The delay to Monaco could make sense, as I think they plan to also move some internals around and need Honda to do changes for this task. E.g. that huge cooler on top of the air inlet (marked red) could probably move much lower. They could split it up (yellow triangle). Similar to what they did in the last year with the Renault engine. This would also be in line with what Rob Marshall said recently about 'free gains'. They could then narrow down the cooling inlet. -> Lower cog and better airflow towards the rearwing.

No, the diffuser doesnt flex. The problem was, a premounted part of the suspension. It wasn't mounted right and that caused them to be unable to find a good setup.
So what is the cause? Is it aero, suspension, a combination of those things and some parts which just need some development? The engine installation has a huge influence on the balance of the car, and Red Bull themselves say there are free gains in developing that aspect.yener wrote: ↑17 Apr 2019, 14:26No, the diffuser doesnt flex. Beside that, the rear is still twitchy. Not the diffuser, the whole rear of the RB15 lacks grip, which hurts them in slow corners but also high speed corners.
After seeing this first picture i take my words back. This must be a flexing diffuser / floor. Or they are justtrying to add more stifness to the end.
Or tuning the floor flex to work for them.
Slightly different frontwing in the background.Morteza wrote: ↑25 Apr 2019, 12:17https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D4_cUXzW4AAsXaL.jpg
