I know you're depressed because your god Fernando retired, but don't take it out on our drivers. We all appreciate Fernando's talents and contributions to McLaren F1 team, he's still in the family. Meanwhile, go make a Fernando tribute page. Or better still, be more aggressive with your propaganda campaign to get Ferrari to rehire him. Down 1.4 seconds on the top time but three tenths better than their best effort two weeks earlier in Shanghai;
Fastest of the Renault posse, McLaren improved dramatically after their China disappointment the Woking outfit found three tenths out of their package which was put to good use by both Lando Norris and Carlos Sainz. The pair also delivering a double points finish in the race.
Both orange cars progressed to Q3 but neither Renault works car was among the top ten. McLaren four-tenths quicker with Norris than Daniel Ricciardo’s best effort in Q2.
One C1 tyre too many in my opinion. Should have gone with 3 C2's (mediums) instead.

Good improvement with a new car... Gap in 2018 was 2.5 seconds...

I'd be happier if we could make the car faster over one lap more than anything else as race pace is fairly strong. Being ahead of the midfield and in behind Red Bull would alter our racing outlooks quite a lot.
