Mainplane is mostly the same but the flaps taper even more like Ferrari.

McLaren has unveiled its 2019 Formula One race car, named MCL34. As with the 2018 car, the covers were taken off at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, UK.

Tyres a more of a deciding factor according to Vettel. PhilipM mentioned that he heard the update that was expected for Barcelona has now been pushed to Canada, which is when teams usually launch their 2nd spec. He didn’t say the reason for the schedule change though.

No idea, we'll have to wait and see...
