And we still hear people saying Bottas isn't a top driver...
The fact that Bottas wins indicates how good a Mercedes car is. Last season when Mercedes did not have such advantage, Bott-ass was nowhere.
He's just schooled Hamilton in qualifying - one of the best qualifiers ever. You don't do that by being an also ran...

He isn't, he's a nobody in a dominant car with a teammate who hasn't got his crap together yet!

Class act from Bottas, Lewis surely not happy. Never was a big fan of Button but he sure has good insights, I wouldnt mind more interview sessions from him.

To beat Lewis 3 times in a row in qualifying must mean something doesn't it?

Nope, because it's happened before if memory serves on a few occasions!

Strange logic. Does Lewis not have the same car as Bottas both this year and last year? Why can’t people simply say “great drive from Bottas” and move on?

Ferrari's best S3 is about 0.6-0.7s slower than Mercedes. Obviously Mercedes' Barcelona car upgrade is much more successful than Ferrari.

Because he is no better than Massa :-)

Everyone driving F1 and Bottas driving F0.
Strange the top few couldn't improve on their 1st runs?
Max split the Ferraris, lucky from Leclerc.
The midfield is the tightest it's ever been, there's only hundredths of a second between 3/4 teams.
Mercedes are the very definition of synergy. While their dominance can be tiresome, it's incredible what a team of humans working in harmony can achieve.

Cant believe what im seeing. Ferrari must be so frustated. The pace of that Mercedes is just another level. Its not only the PU. They have use something, they must have something others dont have. Dont tell me its just about getting the tyre in the right operating window. 0.9 seconds faster...
Ferrari and RBR doing everything they can. Good PU, updated aero package, amazing suspension. How, we knew at the Vettel Era at RBR, they had the blown diffuser, high rake and flexing wings. At the Schumacher Ferrari ERA, we knee they were really reliable, and the others werent.
But this, this Mercedes is a whole other leaugeu, this is like f16 against an airbus...
I dont hate them, neither do i like them. But you have to give it to them, credits for that team.

Bottas for WDC?
Mercedes seemed to have a pattern of giving Lewis teammates a fighting chance in year 3 with Hamilton.
But loving the battle. It's not a walkway championship for Hamilton. He needs to start eating meat again.
For Sure!!

I'm starting to believe that it's more in the car set-up then it is in the design. The car looks planted, it looks fast, it looks smooth. The Mercedes looks a bit more Twitchy. It's going to be interesting to see the Mercedes teammates on the first lap. Because a Twitchy car full of fuel on cold tires is going to be very difficult if you have another car right beside you in a corner.

If Merc gain that much is S3 alone, they will be 2 seconds a lap faster in Monaco :wtf:
