-- GrandPrix.comLewis made it clear that he did not expect there to be ANY overtaking in the race, unless the car ahead was considerably slower than the car behind.
"You will not overtake here if you are as quick as the man in front," he said. "I was behind David Coulthard and I was quite a bit quicker than him, but I got stuck. We just to play it by ear and do the best job we can tomorrow. We may see another Valencia."
So are you saying that Mclaren tried to make Ferrari go on a 3 stopper while Hamilton is on a 2 stop?chasefreak wrote:i have seen qualifying twice now
i just feel mclaren have thrown a dummy at ferari
and ferrari have understood it already ......
i think ferari thought that lewis would go for a 3 pit stop game
and it just did not happen that way
i just hope so my calculation come out right
geeze if it does i will be so proud of my self
and BTW the ma calculations are based on assumptions
I agree. They could've layed new asphalt during this time because it's already been closed off from general traffic and they could have nice surface instead of bumps not only for the race but for the rest of the year for the general public when they re-open up the streets.woohoo wrote:I think its terrible that there are so many bumps.
In this day and age, that a track is so bumpy....
I know that part of the track is a freeway / motorway / autobahn, but when it takes three weeks to set the track up, you might as well lay new asphalt in certain areas...
Becasue of this and the stupid pitlane entry, I think its a bad track.
I think there would me much more mistakes than average. There are few corners with exit similar to the "wall of champions". There are places like 10th corner where if you fail to get right position on entry you'd be airborne.axle wrote:I feel this is going to be the most boring GP of the year, unless it rains.
