What's going on with Lorenzo? Is he simply a bad rider who can't adjust to different bikes OR is that Honda a very difficult bike to ride for anyone other than MM? He is making Dani Pedrosa's performance on that same Honda look like legendary.

After fp sessions I thought he could finish in first ten but he couldn't even stay close rider front of him. Honda maybe harder to ride but at the end it must be same character with Yamaha more or less.

Considering he´s won races with Yamaha and Ducati, I´d consider a third option. He need some time to get used to a new bike

Marquez on fire again, it was great to see Rins and Suzuki that strong again, and also Viñales and Yamaha. Let´s hope it´s not the home crow effect of Jerez and all those manufacturers can fight for victories

People need to get off of Lorenzo's back. He's a proven winner. He's still said ergonomics are not perfect and they're working on it iirc

You probably need to tell that to Honda themselves.

Link -> Lorenzo, now it's crisis. And Honda doesn't want to wait any longer
Honda has also tried to satisfy him in every way, bringing new pieces without interruption to try to make it more comfortable on the RC213V - we are talking about the tank and, ultimately, about the saddle - and to make it make the most of the its possibilities. The performance, however, does not arrive and Honda seems determined to put a brake on the number of new components to be built to help it. The Japanese House has tried to meet its new pilot, but now it is Jorge who has to put something more to reach the expected results.

I will take an Italian news report with a large grain of salt. Of course it's natural that Honda will want to pressure Lorenzo - didn't Ducati? Same old news. It's only been 4 races and he's finally kind of fit. Switching manufacturers ain't easy. If it was I am sure Marc would have attempted something already by now. No way Alberto Puig is gonna throw away his investment in Lorenzo so soon.

Yeah, bit of a procession, & not much overtaking action, major drama really was J.L.'s failing to impress,
esp' after he'd 'boosted' himself in the press prior to the race.

Dovi at least is still keeping M.M. in range points-wise, 'til the 'big show' gets to the tracks Ducati likes.

Ed Hilary on being 1st to top Mt Everest,
(& 1st to do a surface traverse across Antarctica,
in good Kiwi style - riding a Massey Ferguson farm
tractor - with a few extemporised mod's to hack the task).

Another measured race from M.M., to take the win again at Le Mans, & after having to wrest the race
lead back from a 'press-on' attempt by Jack Miller, ( & managed to finish 4th behind the two factory Duc's).

Not a good showing by Yamaha, with ol' man V.R. best in 5th, & nor by J.L.,(who'd had good success here).

Still, Dovi's 2nd did keep him within reach of M.M.'s Championship lead, close enough to stay in contention.

Kinda shocking that if Marc had not binned it at COTA because of engine braking issues he would be ahead by 33 points!!! Championship dusted. And also I find it fascinating no one whinges as much about MotoGP Marc/Honda domination vs Mercedes domination in F1.

Anyway the other thing to note was Marc stamped his authority on LeMans with a Soft Soft front rear tire combination. Something the previous Hondas could never do. I still think Mugello will be a Ducati track though the top speed differential is not that big anymore and the Honda has crazy acceleration now as well!

Sad to say but it seems to be game over for this year, Honda dominating with the softs. Just hoping MM having some falls so the championship has some interest...

That's just terrible to say - falls. If you said mechanicals I could still see that. A fall = high chance of injury.
