What is the best Leclerc can finish?

p-7?
I think he will have to work hard to even reach points. The Toro rossos and hass will be difficult to overtake..

Listen to the ERS whining up on the renault. Look like they're using a new mic position this weekend, but they left it at too low volume so pretty much no one has picked up on it. I've upped the volume on the right channel (the ers mic), so it can be heard more clearly.

Good chance of rain tomorrow so all predictions surely go out the window.

That's surely gotta be faster thru that corner :D Great car control.

When was the last time that Bottas was on Lewis' tale for the whole race in a grand prix? Generally speaking, none of Hamilton's team mates would be at his tale in a GP once he is ahead. So, to say, Bottas would be faster in race, is an overstatement.
Cause of shitty aero rules? You lose grip = you can't drive on tale? It was obvious today that Bottas had better pace, he lost P1 casue of traffic. I am talking about Formula 1 nowdays - race is over after 1st corner mostly, there is no matter if anyone is faster than someone...
Did you see Lewis behind Bottas in Baku? Lewis behind Kimi in Monza 2018? Just in last race, Bottas was 11 seconds behind in each of the stints. Talking about this race, importantly, on Friday in FP2, Lewis was on an average 3 tenths faster than Bottas. So, Bottas can't be faster than Lewis in race.

The run to the first corner is the shortest on the calendar and even if driver starting second is side by side, the racing line would be owned by driver starting on pole, which is enough to lead.
It's not just that. In 2019 itself, Lewis was harrying and hounding Seb in Bahrain. In Bahrain itself, I saw Seb doing that to Lewis and even Charles. I just don't see Valtteri ever challenging Lewis in a race if he's behind after Turn 1. Nico barely managed it other than a few times over their time together. Lewis is just that good. The only team mate who truly ever challenged him was Jenson on race days.
"Sebastian there's very, you're a member of a very select few.. Stewart, Lauda, Piquet, Senna, Prost, Schumacher, Fangio.. VETTEL!"

So we have qualifiying into 3 sections. To avoid cars impeding eachother
Now we still penalize cars impeding eachother.

Come on this is the sport ok lets change f1 qualy every one gets 1 run with a clear track lets make it even more boring.

Stupid they give grid drops to racers , only because the tires are --- and only work for one lap.

You race on a street circuit how do the drivers see exactly who is behind them ?

You --- up you didnt put a proper time in Grosjean , grow up instead of always bitching

Considering how ecstatic Hamilton was post qualifying, I wouldn't be surprised if this was his Monaco win right there and that they [Mercedes] will enforce a controlled and managed start to enforce an easy 1-2 procession and race result. There's so much on the line - the first 6th consecutive 1-2 in history. Considering the short run to T1 and the impossibility of a successful & risk free overtake, there's no better place to manage the result without much animosity.

As for Ferrari. Simply no words for them stuffing up Q1... :wtf:
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

Kyvatt doing well again. Pretty strong showing from him this season. Maybe he should be promoted to face Max next year?
Danny Ric showing well as well as Sainz in Mclaren.

4 honda engines in the top 10. More than any other engine. Interesting fact.

the grid pretty much looks fixed apart from Charles who is out of place. only a botched pit stop can shake up the order now, or an untimely safety car playing into the hands of the long runners who may chose to go on the harder tyre at the start.

I predicted that STR would do well here in Qualifying. Honestly, I can see Albon in the RBR alongside Max this season. Gastly simply isn't ready for that ride.

Bottas"I definitely felt like I had the speed to take pole today. My first run in Q3 was quick, but I had two or three tenths in my pocket. I was stuck in traffic on my final out lap in Q3, so my tyres weren't warm enough for the second run. As soon as I started the lap I could feel that they weren't gripping and I saw during the lap on the screens that Lewis took pol

BTW they're still "looking at numbers" from Barcelona start although media/public suggestion was it was all about the grip. Let's wait for final conclusions in let's say 2024.

Freaking numbers!
