Watching Lewis with Anthony on Sky Pad and he was explaining the pole lap. Lewis said, he was an incredible 0.39 tenths up on Valtteri's provisional pole time and his mistake at Rascasse cost him around 0.25 tenths and left him with a slender lead for pole.

he was 0,39 up on his own previous lap. he was neck and neck with bottas until the last corner where bottas simply made a mistake

Doesn't matter much as long as the tyres don't literally fall apart. You can drive 3 seconds slower on this track and nobody can overtake you if you do it right.

+5 seconds time penalty. Such a clowning from the stewards.

Even the Sky F1 commentators thought it was the least harsh penalty possible and how nonsensical it was to give Gio a +10 sec penalty while giving Max a +5 seconds after putting people in the pits in danger.

If this race was dropped from the calendar I wouldn't care one bit, this is not racing, its a one way traffic flow system, what a joke

I think Monaco should become into a "quali-only" race. Unless the regulations make the cars narrower.
