New pit exit is better but still not ideal. If they can change it so drivers rejoin after 1st turn (like Canada) it will eliminate dangerous high speed contacts.

They are. But before they were joining on the track with much lower speed than those already on it and it was dangerous. Now, if the car behind is close enough it would pass them while they are still accelerating and when they get to the breaking zone both of them would be slowing down.

That Korean pit exit would probably work here, true. But I think they don't make it like that because of another layout that it would be passing over. This way all layouts enter and exit pits at the same place
Plus the old pit exit looks like it was just over the crest of the hill which must've made it practically blind for any cars approaching on the straight.

Thank you for the clean up on isle 8.

I understand that sometimes the rational responses to an inflammatory or hyperbolic post can easily get out of control. Offering a little bit of perspective from a slightly different point of view. When you don't stir the pot a little bit, it get's lumpy and you tend the burn the bottom. It's a fine line to straddle. Everything in moderation, especially moderation.

I am confused. Isn't you who had an attempt at trolling earlier?

Should have kept it at 80kmh then we might have ended up with a two stopper for people that thought it was a cheeky bet.

Well, the actual entry to the pitlane, that kink in front of the 1st garage (is mercedes still put there?) is still in there, so I suppose it makes sense, just that now they added an extra before that, before the kink, where you have to be at 60 already, so that's not any faster than last year; but, you do get to cut the slow T15, so that might make it notably faster, right?

Also, it is reported to become really quite hot, so perhaps that pushes it towards 2-stop territory too.

Max saying RedBull are not looking backwards at Renault as they are so far behind because in Canada Renault were a whole pitstop behind. RedBull are looking forward at Ferrari

Yeah Ferrari who finished nearly 3 pitstops in front #-o
