Sainz going through the field, he is on the back of Giovanazzi. This car has serious pace.

He is actually just made the move on RAI... Can’t believe they haven’t showed any of it!

And now he is 6 seconds from Gasly!!!

Can he??? That would be mighty impressive

He was a second faster than GAS in the last lap... He could cut that gap

Sainz is flying with that new engine, he's just sliced through the entire midfield pack in a couple of laps like they were nothing.

Damn, Sainz passed Raikonnen. He passed on the track pretty much whole midfield in this race, both Renault, Alfas, RacingPoints, you name it.

Sainz is putting a big gap to Alfas. I don't think he can get Gasly, but if he does it, definitely drive of the day and we didn't see any of it.

They are gonna use Norris to hold off Gasly so Sainz can catch up

And we’ve not seen any of that. Or any of Carlos any moment of the race, for that matter

Lando seems to be driving to a Delta, pretty consistent in the 1:09.1 for several laps now... My guess is to allow Carlos to close the gap to GAS

I think that's just Lando's pace, you wouldn't try to back a car up here, the tow effect is too strong.

If there was justice in the world Carlos would be driver of the day....
Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

Is the consistency that is impressive, I believe that as long as he can maintain a 1.8-2.0 second gap, that’s enough to avoid Gasly from closing it and so far he has done it... The Red Bull has the pace (look at Max)... While Carlos is lapping almost half a second faster... He will be lapped though by Leclerc (which could be a blessing in disguise)
