So what is the standard here? I don't think it should be allowed to force a driver off track when you're side by side. But it happens in F1 all the time without penalty so it seems like it's not against the rules is it?

How does Gasly still have a job? The man is getting lapped by his teammate.
When is the last time this has happened? Where a teammate is lapped in a situation where their race wasn't hurt by something like a collision or flat tire? Especially when that lapped teammate was ahead on lap 1? Wow.
I honestly can't understand how he can be so slow. Either he's one of the worst drivers in F1 or there's something seriously wrong with his car.
The likes of Norris is flat out embarrassing him ATM.

Also don't forget that Lec was in front of Max by 2/3 length by the corner

To avoid a farce podium, hope the stewards quickly make a decision. It was a dive bomb move and force the other off the track.

Max was on the racing line and fully upside of Leclerc. He's entitled to take the line.
He didn't leave Leclerc any space. Even if you on the racing line, you need to leave enough space inside the track limits for the other car.
This has been done for years like this. It'll be interesting to see whether the stewards set a new precedent.
Yes, but if they penalize the BS they did the last few races, they also have to penalize this to show any consistency.

Well why do they keep saying that Verstappen was entitled to keep that line... Charles was basically side by side

Leclerc desperatly clung on, circuit boundery ended.
Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

You want racing or a parade.... that is the decision now.
you can race like norris or can race like verstappen. Ves just feels he should never been overtaken and he deserves to push people out. he is a mighty racer but he deserves penalty here fullstop.

Seriously, if people think that's race they should go watch bumper cars. He didn't even go near the apex and pushed Charles off track, how is that "racing"?

Both cars were on track and racing, one of them wasn't forcing someone in to a wall to defend a driving mistake.

The problem is, verstappen has been let go off so many times with such stupid moves, he feels entitled to do that.
