Are there any more naysayers about who is the fastest midfield team? Sainz performance with the new engine shows just how faster we are and I can't wait to see the big update in Silverstone.

The problem with a Silverstone update even if it's worth half a second, is that most teams will also be bringing a few tenths there, bar Ferrari maybe, just because it's so easy to use it for testing parts, still, the Mclaren guys all seem pretty upbeat.

What a race. All attention goes to the stars like Verstappen an Leclerc, but how good were the McLaren guys today? Both Sainz and Norris drove phenomenal. So happy to see the progress McLaren is making after 7 troubled years.

On another note, I am also greatly happy with Honda’s success today. Even though our partnership with them didn’t work out, they deserved a win as much as we do.

Saint just said he hit a kerb, damaged front wing and thought he had to pit. Luckily he could finally avoid. He is certain he could have overtaken Gasly

Sainz has 2 points less than Renault. If McLaren keeps this up 4th place is in the bag.

Yeah, he was pulling half a second a lap on Gasly and Gasly tyres were getting worse, pretty unlucky.

As long as ours is 0.1 more than the rest... Then it’s all good... Hopefully the can consolidate this position and be clearly in front of the midfield by summer brake.

Well, the better news is Norris has that new Renault engine to slot in too and I think Sainz has shown that the overtake/qualifying mode has a decent improvement.
