I'm not attributing any blame or playing whataboutisms, I'm just saying being on the outside of that corner, you're going to have a bad time.timbo wrote: ↑30 Jun 2019, 18:36Except on the previous lap, Leclerc made a comeback pass on Verstappen from the outside of the corner.zac510 wrote: ↑30 Jun 2019, 18:34The outside of turn 3 is a dumb place to be. It doesn't matter whether you're overtaking, being overtaken, in a tin-top, F3 car, F1 car or whatever! Being on the outside of another car in there is going to end in misery. It always has been, as long as that corner has existed! LEC should know that and stop moping.
I watched the race, and i saw a lot of guys in orange who, ummm looked very joyful!
very happy atleast stewarts are consistent. they are going by the rules. need better racing then change rule.damager21 wrote: ↑30 Jun 2019, 18:37Max given 5sec penalty. What a shame!

Yeah, so let's wait a bit then. Well, I can appreciate the humor
They tried their best but it has a few dead giveaways lol
Hope springs eternal for some!
Yep, perhaps too much. Everyone blamed the stewards for inconsistancy. This year they have been firm and correct with penalties. Maybe not so today since it's about a RBR win in Austria? And Max was never ahead though in this case.dans79 wrote: ↑30 Jun 2019, 18:23Yet the stewards have been ignoring that for years on the exit of the turn when the inside car is even a little ahead.Moanlower wrote: ↑30 Jun 2019, 18:20Max was pretty smooth on deliberately missing the apex, run wide and then slowly calculates his steering movement so that Lec was forced off track. Lec was of the opinion that he'd get at least the most outside of the track as the rules say. You hava to leava da space.
