Astonishing race pace with the Hard compound, no one was near. Excited to see if the upgrades really have turn the car on the right direction
Gasly could not score good points and generally just hardly achieve to finish in points. If Engine mode would give him a few position team wouldn't lost anything for the next race. But when it comes to Verstappen they will lost in the next if engine sacrificed. You should accept that the package did well and you should stop saying engine finished by this race. It was not only engine's successRedragon wrote: ↑03 Jul 2019, 05:26There were rumors prior the race that Verstappen had the right to brake contract with Redbull if they didn't win before summer brake, or at least it is what Sky was reporting?
I wonder if they maximased the engine power and sacrifice an engine on the overall year not only to win at home but to give a win to Verstappen so he doesn't brake free to another team.
It got me thinking after the race why suddenly only the redbull of verstappen is so strong on the race in comparation to his team mate ( who is not having a great year but being overlapped with same car? it is a bit supicious) just brignning some food for thought
Hmmm I'm noticing a change of perspective everywhere in the daily conversation.
You definitely worked your computer's ass off by that render time.Juzh wrote: ↑02 Jul 2019, 12:3740 minutes of verstappen's onboards with telemetry:

But of cause I need to mention that I do all the work on a 3yo laptop, so that kinda makes sense lol
I would like to see more teams max out the engines to fight for wins and take penalties down the road and fight back from the middle of the field after taking penalties. Would be quite spectacular
I think the transparency in the Tanabe interview is just blown out of proportion. It would make sense all teams would do the same if there was an opportunity to win, get a podium or take another position or hold a position. It's just that they don't necessarily reveal the impact of the engine life.digitalrurouni wrote: ↑03 Jul 2019, 20:02I would like to see more teams max out the engines to fight for wins and take penalties down the road and fight back from the middle of the field after taking penalties.
