Hungary is not an option. They cannot recover if starting from the back. Earliest engine change would be in Spa.

I wonder if the RB15 keeping up with Mercedes is because they are pushing the power units to only last 4 weekends While Mercedes is squeezing an extra 3 races.

That perhaps they have the power but at the expense of reliability. If so, then it means they are not far away. By next year the power unit will likely have achieved the reliability to run with the extra power, and be able to last 7 races.

Get a grip buddy, we're way past that. Results are showing now. Podiums and win is a massive milestone regardless of assumptions on how its possible.

They did not have the power, back then, nor the reliability

Mclaren113, are you a blind Mclaren / Alnso fan ?
Different days. now a day, we ask ourselves when the best time to introduce a new engine specification, because Hungary seems winnable.
Germany too early, Hungary good chance to win there. Belgium, is almost Max home race :D
For me the best race should be Monza It will give 6 more weeks to Honda to add some more power.
. And from then keep ready if we a qualification goes wrong add a new engine to the pool to finish the year.

If you go through trouble of qualifying on the harder tire then you need to go longer on your first stint all these stupid incident would not have happened

Vettel is useless. No more coments. Always doing stupid things when overtaked. Go and retire, please

Oh that's a little harsh. It's disappointing, but it is a bit harsh.

Was watching the in car video on the laptop the whole race. After Max pulled in, Vettel immediately came by. Based on the body language, I think he apologized to Max. I could be wrong since there's no audio, but they shook twice. Max was pretty calm in the radio post race.
