The most promising thing for me in the race is that the car clearly was faster than the Ferrari during the race. On a track that many felt maybe RBR might not have a good chance, they did great. Very interesting to see how the rest of the season is going to go!

If you go through trouble of qualifying on the harder tire then you need to go longer on your first stint all these stupid incident would not have happened

It's great to see RB15 quicker in turns 10-11-12-13-14 .. The car almost compensates the quickness of Fer engines in hanger straight.
Sad for the incidents happened to Max .. May be a podium but we have some nonsensible drivers on the grid .

Good thing they are already working on an improved quali mode. Starting in front of the Ferraris on the upcoming more twistier tracks should be consitantly doable then.

They pitted to achieve Fastest lap but their plandidn't go well

Bottas did have to pit again, as he went for the mediums at his first stop. There is absolutely no way he could have done it with only his first stop as you are not allowed to finish the race only on one type of tires.

Although the race did not end as well as it should have for RBR they showed promising signs that they are ahead of Ferrari. Difficult to judge how far they are from Merc as they never had track position to race them. Merc though seemed extremely strong.

No, he had to pit. Max for certain would have been 2nd. Unfortunately his record of finishing ahead or at his starting position has come to an end.

Vettel probably won't want to visit Red Bull hospitality center for a bit.
And I think its clear the Red Bull Honda package is on par with Ferrari. Honda engine might be better than Ferraris in race trim.
