After being sick and then this horrible weekend, I'm betting Lewis is going to come back to hungry in Terminator mode.

Hahaha all those Merc logos. Makes it even more painful

True GOATs don’t need the help of superior material to win.

Tom Brady, Usain Bolt are true GOATs.

Surprisingly Mercedes had no pace in the dry, in the wet they were easy 1-2 with Lewis pulling comfortable gap. If it was a dry race today I doubt they would've finished on the podium.

Whoever decided to have drag race starts from that run off area should get shot tbh

I don't like bashing GAS, seems like everyone do it ever race but seriously now, one would expect a driver to improve by every race, GAS is seemingly getting worse, can't see why RB would want a driver that was 2-4 seconds slower the entire race than this teammate.

There must be additional ceremony a Redbull man gives a carbon fiber Redbull seat to Kvyat.

If a Redbull stays slow at start it is the race they will won :wtf:

As much as this race was won by Verstappen, it was lost by Hamilton. When he lost his FW he was leading the GP by around 25-30 seconds.

That drag strip has been there for years.

Best race in the last 4 or 5 years. Congrats to Max. Kvyat and Vettel deserved DOTD more than Max.

Lewis has to be happy though, his worst race in probably three or four years and he still leading the championship and he doesn't even lose any points to the guy in second.
Good point.

Exactly. If Max's spin had caused damage he'd have been way back too. Sometimes you just need to have a bit of good fortune on your side. Today Max did and many others didn't.
