It was only a few races ago that people was complaining Merc was too dominant...

They still are based on dry pace as shown on Friday.

Today they just had massive errors in the cockpit and one major screw-up in the pits (which was started of by that driver crashing on his own). If the raters are consistent they are giving Hamilton and Bottas at maximum a 4 for this race, like they gave Vettel.

Also to boast about this specific stat at THIS particular time is kind of sad. He has just completely messed up a race he was leading, and was only gifted the points because of a technical infringement that had zero impact on the race. You would be wise to pick another moment to boast.

Of course it's a silly comparison I'm just saying Mercedes is not going to win this championship easily the way this season is developing the last three races, who would've thought in France. And let's be honest merc as a team, ham and bot as drivers had a dreadful day today, the bulletproof-ness has some cracks to show. Looking forward to the rest of the season.

I dont know if you are sarcastic or are really so oblivious to how racing and pit stops work.

Verstappen went into the pits again to put Inters on as he first went on to the mediums when he spun.

Verstappen gained by dropping into the pits for a second time when the safety car was out/yellow flags.

So technically you can view it pre Hamilton getting a tyre he didn’t want and cruising he had a pit stop to make, Bottas had pit for the medium which was a mistake, Verstappen the medium which was a mistake and they both went in again for Inters. Hamilton would’ve been ahead comfortably if they put him on Inters.

Mercedes pulled the gun too soon and should’ve just left him out as he had 12 seconds after a stop and with the others pitting again technically 30 seconds.

Well.... if you want to keep the season exciting for yourself, go right ahead... but this weekend was more about who f-uped the least. Ferrari droppend the ball at their cars and one of the drivers crashed, RedBull had to rebuild a car only to see it crash out of the race. The only driver to kept his nose clean this weekend was Verstappen and he has some PU penalties coming.

This weekend there was nothing wrong with the car, just driver errors and a confused pitcrew.
