Yet you mentioned his name so maybe not
You lampoon your own premise, again. Yes, the car is getting better. Why would anyone take that as an insult? Merc have had the best car so far in the turbo hybrid era. Merc drivers place better because of this. Rosberg exists. Bottas exists. Hamilton superfans uncomfortable with acknowledging such basics. But this is delusion.
I think they would personally.NathanOlder wrote: ↑03 Aug 2019, 19:43Should be a good race. Lewis always has better race pace that Bottas so could be a good battle, although its rubbish for overtaking.
Only way this could turn boring is if they get away in the same order and Lewis is stuck behind Bottas while Max runs off.
Would Merc move Bottas over in pursuit of Max?
Hamilton's lap looked on point. Would love to see a side by side of his lap with Max's. And as always, ty.
Hamilton misses the apex at turn 2 and turn 6 a bit too much. Turn 2 you dont have to hit the kerb but this was just a tad too wide. Turn 6 he turns in a fraction too late compromising him for turn 7 (second part of the chicane) and the exit of the combination

RB may have had the best chassis since '09, and they may have had the best aero since then as well. They were hindered by the Renault engine for five seasons. If that is being solved with Honda, we should expect the RB drivers to place better.
Who cares who is in the driver's seat.
I think with that Mercedes the comfortable way to win is from the front. It always seems better in the lead than tooling around behind. Even when Lewis if fighting through the field it takes more out of the car and we have seen him 'give it a breather' between bouts.atanatizante wrote: ↑03 Aug 2019, 22:04I know that here and Monaco it`s all about grabbing the pole. But in Lewis` case knowing he`s got some let`s say comfortable lead, he could be more focused on the long game, if you know what I mean ...
I mean he`s just looking more for being consistently into the big points after the race and if it`s possible, why not, just running for the win!
He can afford that and in order to do that, he just set up his car more towards the race as we could see from Le Castellet race onwards ... hence his better pace management and fastest laps on the final lap of the race
As for the race I think every top team starting on M tyres is on a 1 stop M-H race, maybe M-S-S for Ferrari.
It would be interesting who could stretch the first stint on them ...
