Mercedes-AMG F1 W10 EQ Power+

A fresh tire means you can brake harder, so brake temps will go up. It’s all about the amount of energy you take out of the car with brakes alone.
Does it not also mean that you corner faster so apply the brake for a shorter period? (also more moving air)
If a car is slow, then you can break later before a turn. If it comes to the breaking zone with greater speed, then you break early and break harder before you take turn. No driver keeps breaking throughout a corner, it's before the corner entry.
A bit. If your tires are worn, you can put less energy trough them. This means less cornering speed, less power from the PU and less braking.

Right. That's what I mean too.

As they are not adding vitamins, it's an entirely inaccurate word. "Supplemented" would be a better word - they have added a fuel supplement to improve combustion.
Yes but, these Americans know there's more to life than accuracy!
Oh, that's true enough. One only has to look at the White House to see that!

English has a rich enough vocabulary: there is no need to use waffle.

Is it fair to still call it the white house?

It is white in colour so that bit is fair. It's more office than house though. "White Office" would be more accurate. And would also fit the current incumbent's policies(*) - although Orange House would be more apt for him.

language is supposed to evolve isn't, not stay the same forever. It's like 'strategise' - new word but you instantly know what it means. Now we have 'vitaminise', it's more interesting than 'supplement'. It has associations, imagery, I think it belongs in F1, like 'vorticity'; or 'window' and'delta' that get used pretty loosely as well

I mean would we rather have an engine that's been supplemented :( , or one that's been vitaminised =D> ?

Sigh.
A vitamin is a specific thing. To "vitaminise" would mean to add vitamins. I doubt they're adding vitamins to petrol. Thus it is inaccurate and shouldn't be used in a technical discussion.

The fuel has had some new additive, a supplement, included. So use supplement. Or, if you must make it exciting, "supplementised". Yuck, what a horrible non-word. At least it fits the apparently preferred bastardisation of perfectly good words by advertising executives.

It's is a computer translation of an Italian article. These often read awkwardly. Regardless, the original reads "un nuovo carburante per vitaminizzare la power unit" or "a new fuel to vitaminise the power unit," which could be interpreted in the sense of fortification as with fortified foods. Italian speakers may be able to clarify if its a commonly used term in that sense or if the author was being inventive with terms.

Yes but, these Americans know there's more to life than accuracy! It's creating an image isn't it, to communicate richly. You have to pronounce it right: "vydamnyze" , then you can imagine people working out on a California beach, being super perfect with extra energy 😁
