Racing Point RP19

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Interesting how the cape isn't present on the new nose.

I was looking at this area as well I am extremely eager to *see* how it performs on track.

But are these Spa/Monza specific parts?

With these being tracks where you want low drag.

Could be, the cape and the old nose both increase drag/lift if not utilised properly. The new one is more fluidic so easier to predict the flow down stream. Expect a cape and/or s-duct by singapore.
Halo not as bad as we thought

RP back in business; less than 1 sec off the pace of leaders =D> =D> =D> There is something in DNA of this car which comes alive at SPA.

F1 commentator was saying, there is another big upgrade plan for Singapore which will have 4 tenth gain
Is it true or I heard wrong?

Yeah, but not sure whether car (cooling?) or the new spec PU, but the cars are not smelling like roses in this configuration; didn't something like this happen in Austria too (which might point to cooling being a bit optimistic, with it again being quite warm?)
